Production 1: Planning Ahead

The past couple days my partner and I worked on casting, locations, and scheduling. As for casting, we only need two actors for the beginning of our film. We don't know exactly who we are going to cast yet but we have some options in mind such as our friends. Earlier in the month when working on storyboarding we determined two locations we would need to film at. My partner suggested that for the alleyway scene we film downtown once it gets dark. For the bedroom scene where the protagonist wakes up, I proposed we use my partner's guest room since it has neutral yet cozy decor which is fitting for the feeling we're trying to invoke. Following this, we debated back and forth when would be a good time to start filming. Since our story takes place both at night and early morning we need our footage to be shot in these same times or at least simulate the setting to look like that time of day. Our locations are in public and at home so there's no worry with getting permission to film in certain areas.
